Split System Air Conditioner for Your Home

More and more people are starting to  prefer a split system air conditioner over window-type air conditioning systems.  This is primarily due to the fact that split system air conditioners can be installed easily without the necessity of a window.  More so, the appearance of a split system air conditioner is sleeker than other regular air conditioner types.  On the other hand, the cost of a split system is higher than other air conditioning systems although the installation cost is low.

In terms of power consumption, a split system air conditioner has greater consumption than window type air conditioners; however, in the long run, the cost in terms of consumption would be the same for both air conditioner types.

A split system air conditioner includes a condensing unit that is positioned outside the room or house.  A multi split can provide this one great advantage because the noise it produces is very minimal since the compressor is outside while the evaporation panel is inside the house.  Thus, you need not have a provision for a window or remodel your current window just to install a split system.

In addition, the indoor unit of a split system air conditioner draws air from the room where it is installed and blows the air back to the room after it has been cooled and removed moisture.  On the other hand, the outdoor unit of a split system discards heat.

If you want to have a comfortable room, you would need to have a temperature ranging from 22 to 26 degrees Celsius since the body temperature is 36 degrees Celsius.  More so, you should have humidity range between 20% and 50%.  Consequently, it is essential to calculate the load of heat from the room since an air conditioner with higher cooling capacity causes humidity while an air conditioner with lower capacity for cooling would not be able to cool the room at all.
